25 Years of Bluemont Summer Evenings...

We can hardly believe that it has been 25 years since people first gathered on the courthouse lawn in Leesburg, Virginia for a Bluemont concert.

Over the years, families and friends in 23 communities across Northern and Central Virginia have discovered Bluemont in the summertime. Blues, jazz, folk, gospel, bluegrass, country-rock, boogie-woogie, New Age, African, South American, and Latin rhythms - something for everyone.

By attending and supporting Bluemont Summer Concerts, you are supporting Bluemont's programs year-round:

Nurturing the cultural spirit in our schools...

Bluemont's Artist-In-Education program is active in your community's schools, nurturing and developing a new generation of creative young people. From fall to spring, Bluemont works with teachers and PTOs to supplement our schools' arts education programs and stimulate young minds. The Bluemont Artist-In-Education program is a large part of the Bluemont tradition, presenting 275 artist residency programs in schools throughout Northern and Central Virginia every year.

Preserving the cultural spirit in our assisted living facilities...

Bluemont presents free concerts to our communities' nursing homes and assisted living facilities for our parents and granparents who don't have the opportunity to join our regular concerts. Bluemont brings 50 concerts to assisted living facilities each year, lighting up the day for our elders.

Taking the cultural spirit into holiday and special event celebrations...

Bluemont brings the heritage of our musical traditions and the talents of a new generation to community special events. First Night Leesburg and Warrenton, Martin Luther King Day Celebration, Spotsylvania Fall Festival, King George Fall Festival, Middleburg Christmas Parade, Multicultural Festival, Middleburg Benefit Concert, Round Hill Hometown Festival, the Bluemont Oldtime Country Dances and much more.

With your contribution to Bluemont, you can help provide valuable community services while ensuring hours of summer entertainment for yourself, your family, your employees, clients and friends.
