First Night Leesburg- Performers  

                                     

First Night Leesburg will feature approximately 100 PERFORMANCES featuring Jazz, Classical Music, Puppet Shows, Bluegrass, Folk Music, Hayrides, Storytelling, Rock & Roll and so much more!

We anticipate appearances by the following performers. All performers are subject to change.

Andrew McKnight Folk and original acoustic music with guitar from this engaging Virginia singer/songwriter
The Arcadians Dixieland jazz from the golden age of swing; trombone, clarinet, guitar, bass, & vocals
Backpack Puppets* A high energy, humorous interactive program especially good for young children with a a pre-show sing-along
Bill Emerson & Sweet Dixie Banjo legend Bill Emerson and his band create pure, high-octane bluegrass music on guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, and fiddle
Blue Ridge Thunder Cloggers* Dynamic Appalachian clog dancing by the acclaimed Loudoun County dance troupe
Blue Sky Puppets* Puppet show about brother hood and individuality in a child-friendly setting with rod puppets
Bruce Hutton American folk music and storytelling with dozens of musical instruments including banjo, guitar, bones, and  spoons
Celtic Rhythm School of Dance * Traditional Irish step dancing performed by students from Leesburg’s Celtic Rhythm School
The Chainsaw Comedian** Dave Vanderveer of Standardsville, VA featuring unicycle tricks, bull whip artistry, bad jokes, and chainsaw juggling
Dominion4 Classic barbershop quartet with gospel, pop and Broadway selections
Fiddlin' Dave and Morgan This husband and wife duo, comprising one-half of Furnace Mountain Band, present a mix of swing, folk, and old-time music on guitar, bouzouki, and fiddle
Harley String Band Folk music trio playing traditional and contemporary songs, guitar, banjo, and bouzouki
The Immortals** Local teens cover classic and modern tunes. Don’t let their age fool you; they rock!
Jug of Punch John & Sharon Knowles & Tabby Finch present  Celtic music featuring  traditional instruments
Julia & The Ready Boys Husband & wife harmonies with pedal steel & acoustic guitar, playing a variety of music from folk to rock & roll.

Tally Ho’s resident dramatic improv troupe presents a special family-friendly comedy show for First Night
