The Woodshedders, (nicknamed 'The Hot Club of West Virginia' by local fans), is an acoustic Gypsy Jazz style quintet consisting of Dwayne Brooke, Ryan Mayo, Chance McCoy, Stuart Orser, and fiddlin' Dave VanDeventer.
Deeply inspired by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli's Hot Club of France, and driven by their own passion for creativity, The Woodshedders render a musical fusion of nostalgia and invention, whereby every spirited improvisation nods to the traditional and winks to the avant-garde.
