Dressed in their black pants and white shirts mindful of New Orleans 2-line street bands tradition, the Dixieland Entertainment Committee band performs an up-tempo version of Dixieland and swing tunes from the golden age of American Jazz music. The band includes six musicians on trumpet, saxophone, trombone, tuba, clarinet keyboard, guitar and drums and is led by music director and keyboardist Phil Heim of Fredericksburg.
