Big Band Caliente is a project that started in the summer of 2005. Marty Knepp had the crazy idea to mix the best of big band with Latin. The band started with six musicians, but has grown to be a complete big band with some of the area’s best players. Big Band Caliente plays all styles of Latin Music as well as the traditional big band numbers, with a twist. We invite you to come and “hear the heat!”
