The Nicolo Whimsey Show combines juggling, music, comedy, character acting, pantomime, ropewalking, circus skills, poetry and audience participation in a variety arts extravaganza that thrills students and teachers alike, while heightening their appreciation for the visual, verbal and musical arts. Active student participation during the performance leaves students inspired to use their imaginations in their own creative activities.

Dressed as Renaissance court jesters, Nick Newlin and Joanne Flynn introduce students to key figures of the Renaissance era: Shakespeare, Da Vinci, and Copernicus.

While interchanging characters through subtle costume changes and mime, Nicolo, the Gypsy Juggler and the Queen of Whimsey delight audiences with their feats of juggling, balancing and musical saw and accordion melodies.

Workshops for students and teachers in basic juggling, clowning and pantomime can be held in conjunction with a school performance as part of a full day of "Whimsey" while emphasizing persistence, imagination, and creativity.
