Len Cabral, storyteller of Cape Verdean ancestry, tells stories from Africa, the Caribbean, the Cape Verde Islands, and the southern United States. Listeners are taken on journeys far and near, with each story offering a lesson and an invitation to imagine through poetry, dance, mime, myths, and fables. In grade appropriate settings, Len Cabral teaches through his storytelling, touching on health, moral and social issues, and conflict resolution.

It's a Funny World (K-12) consists of stories of unconscionable tricksters from the famous--such as Br'er Rabbit of African-American folklore to the lesser known story of Nho Lobo of the Cape Verde Islands.

Stories of Color From Around the World (K-12) Len tells stories from Africa, the Caribbean, the Cape Verde Islands and the Southern United States. The setting for these stories may vary, but many similarities are apparent. The stories told in this performance vary depending on the age and grade level of the students.
