Blue Sky Puppet Theatre creates programs dealing with issues that our children face everyday using rod puppets of various sizes. With lively characters, fast paced story lines and memorable original music and songs, Blue Sky Puppet Theatre reinforces positive behavior in the areas of conflict resolution, peer mediation, drug and alcohol resistance, goal-setting, and building self-esteem.
Rufus (preK-2) Brotherhood and individuality are considered in this story of a dog who is excluded because he looks different. Building Bridges (K-5) An introduction to peaceful conflict resolution and peer mediation techniques. The Missing Piece (K-5) looks at selfishness, fear, bullying and overcoming aggressive behavior. Excellent for citizenship education. Tree House (K-5) helps students with goal-setting skills and building self-esteem. The Three Not So Little Pigs (K-5) Sibling rivalry and cooperation are explored in this funny tale of the famous pigs. Phaseshifters (K-5) educates students on alcohol and drug abuse prevention and resistance. Lights Out on the Bunny Brothers (K-5) Energy Conservation Education The Barker of Seville (K-5) is a musical woodwind comedy/opera based on the original opera.
